Q:/ My shed is new, why
do I need to treat it so soon?
A: Items such as your garden shed come with a base coat,
usually a primer. If no further treatment is applied to the timber, this can
reduce its lifespan. This not only creates extra work, it also creates cost!.
Q:/ Is it easier to treat sheds, fencing
and other garden timber constructions before they are erected?
A: The simple answer to this is yes. Areas are more
accessible before construction but thats not to say it can't be done if the
timber is already in place.
Q:/ Should I use paint or stain, whats the
difference?
A: That depends on the type of cover and look you
want to achieve. We cannot advise as to which medium you should choose, DIY
stores may be able to help you by detailing the features and benefits of the
products available.
Q:/ How long does it take to do the job?
A: It would depend on a number of
factors, such as; coats required, if the object was already erected, size, shape
and accessibility. You can call for an estimate or arrange a site visit to
